In this report in Trouw , Marianne van Keep, sustainability manager at Verstegen, and Gilmee Davids, agroforestry developer, discuss our food forest projects: regenerative agriculture that respects nature and ecosystems. Both locally—in the Spaanse Polder in collaboration with local farmers and Natuurmonumenten (Dutch Society for Nature Conservation)—and further afield, for example, in Costa Rica. "As a company, we are also responsible for what happens in ten or fifteen years. For our children and grandchildren, and also for those of the farmers," says Marianne.
