Chili con carne with (vegetarian) minced meat, kidney beans, bell pepper and onion
Spicy (vegetarian) minced meat and vegetables form the basis of this chili con carne, seasoned with World Spice Meal – Chili con Carne and served with rice.
Bereidingswijze
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the rice according to the package directions. Drain.
Cut the pepper into pieces and chop the onion.
Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the (vegetarian) minced meat until crumbly and golden brown.
Add the bell pepper, onion and other vegetables and fry for a few minutes.
Add World Spice Meal – Chili con Carne and mix well.
Let the chili simmer gently for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve the chili con carne with the rice and garnish with a spoonful of crème fraîche, if desired.
