Pita chicken shawarma
Pita bread filled with chicken shawarma and lots of vegetables.
This pita chicken shawarma is deliciously seasoned with the Shawarma Mix. Top it off with creamy yogurt garlic sauce. You can have this delicious dish on the table in just 30 minutes. Double the ingredients and you can enjoy it with the whole family (4 people)!
Preparation
Heat the pita breads according to the instructions on the packaging.
Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with the Shawarma Mix. Slice the red onion into rings.
Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the chicken breast until cooked through and golden brown. Season with black pepper and sea salt to taste.
Fill the warmed pita breads with the chicken shawarma, iceberg lettuce, and red onion. Serve immediately.
Variatietip
Serveer de pitabroodjes met Yoghurtknoflooksaus. Voeg naar smaak extra groenten toe, zoals plakjes komkommer, reepjes paprika en/of plakjes tomaat.
