Reach truck driver
Are you really good at operating a reach truck and looking for a job where you're part of a permanent team? At Verstegen, we're looking for an experienced reach truck driver for our location at Innsbruckweg in Rotterdam who works independently but is also there for their colleagues.
You'll join a team with diverse people and personalities. That's why we're looking for someone who easily connects, communicates clearly, and stands their ground. No fuss, just working together to ensure the job gets done by the end of the day.
You'll work in a 2-shift system:
🕕 Morning: 06:00 – 14:30
🕑 Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:30
Approximately 60 to 70% of your workday is spent on the reach truck. You pick and move pallets and ensure orders are ready on time. Especially in the morning, it can be a fast-paced environment.
You operate modern reach trucks equipped with a scanner and monitor. Some of the trucks even have a camera that allows you to view labels at height.
But you won't be sitting all day. Sometimes you'll stack products, remove plastic from pallets, or help a busy colleague. You'll use a handheld scanner to correctly book goods.
● Demonstrable experience as a reach truck driver. Forklift experience alone is not sufficient.
● Preferably at least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
● In possession of a valid reach truck certificate.
● Sufficient command of the Dutch language to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues.
● Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
● A salary of up to €2,850, excluding shift allowance.● On top of that, a 15.5% two-shift allowance.● 8.33% holiday pay and an end-of-year bonus of €900.● 26 vacation days and the possibility to accrue 10 extra days.● Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.● A good pension scheme.● Bicycle plan, corporate fitness, and discount on Verstegen products.
