Argentine steak sandwich
Juicy steak on crispy sourdough bread with chimichurri mayo, grilled pepper, red onion and a fresh spoonful of guacamole.
This Argentinian steak sandwich brings it all together: tender sirloin steak, crispy sourdough bread, fresh chimichurri mayo, and creamy guacamole. Grilled bell peppers, red onion, lime zest, and cilantro add extra flavor and bite. A generously filled sandwich for a hearty lunch or an easy dinner.
Preparation
Marinate the steak with 18 grams of Chili Paprika Spice Oil.
Mix the remaining Chili Paprika Spice Oil with the sunflower oil and brush all sides of the sourdough bread with it.
Cook the bread in a frying pan until all sides are golden brown and crispy. Meanwhile, cook the steak to your liking.
Mix the mayonnaise with the World Spice Blend Chimichurri. Peel and wash the little gem lettuce, slice the red onion into rings, and thinly julienne the grilled bell pepper.
Top the bread with the lettuce and dress it with some of the Chimichurri mayonnaise.
Carve the round steak and dress it over the lettuce with the pepper and red onion.
