Did you know that satay sauce is also delicious with sweet banana dishes? Take this recipe for roasted banana with satay sauce and a chocolate dip, for example. It's an ideal barbecue dessert, especially if you have any satay sauce left over! Garnish this recipe with ground cinnamon.
Preparation
Carefully cut the bananas lengthwise and peel open the skin slightly so you can cut into the banana. Cut the banana into crosswise slices. Remove three slices: one from the right, one from the middle, and one from the left.
Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place them between the banana slices. Spread the satay sauce (ready-made) over the sliced banana as well.
Place the bananas on aluminum foil and then grill for about 10 to 15 minutes. Let the chocolate melt. Don't worry if the skin darkens!
Melt the milk chocolate with the whipped cream in a saucepan.
Serve the bananas with the chocolate sauce and grind some cinnamon over them.
