This delicious Caesar salad with grilled chicken and anchovies is an ideal side dish. Complete this recipe with homemade croutons.

Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle with the Traditional Chicken Mix. Grill (on the barbecue or in a grill pan) until cooked through and have nice grill marks. Let the grilled chicken cool and cut into strips.

Chop the Romaine lettuce and wash it in a colander, let it drain well.

Grate the garlic clove and finely chop the anchovies. Zest the lemon and juice the lemon. Mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil together to make a dressing. Add the grated garlic, finely chopped anchovies, and finely grated Parmesan cheese. Season the dressing with the lemon zest and lemon juice.

Cut the bread into small cubes and place in a mixing bowl. Drizzle the bread with olive oil and add the garlic powder. Fry the croutons in a skillet until golden brown and drain on paper towels.

Place the lettuce in a bowl or serving dish and toss with 3/4 of the dressing. Top with the chicken, followed by the croutons and Parmesan flakes. Finish with a little more dressing.

  • 1 krop Romaine sla
  • 1 teentje knoflook
  • 4 ansjovisfilets
  • 1 citroen
  • 4 el yoghurt
  • 2 el mayonaise
  • olijfolie
  • 80 g fijn geraspte Parmezaanse kaas
  • 3 sneetjes oud wit brood
  • 1 tl Knoflookpoeder
  • 50 g Parmezaanse kaas flakes
