Chai banana cake
Chai banana cake with dates and oatmeal, warm and spicy and ideal as a snack.
Make a delicious Chai banana cake! Blend ripe bananas, dates, and egg white powder, add the dry ingredients, and bake. Warm, spicy, and a delicious snack.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a cake tin with baking paper.
Mash the 3 ripe bananas in a bowl or blend them with a hand blender until smooth.
Add the dates, eggs and vanilla protein powder and mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, chai spice mix, baking powder, and baking soda.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir well until smooth.
Pour the batter into the cake tin and smooth the top.
Cut the remaining ripe banana in half lengthwise and place it on top of the batter as a garnish.
Bake the banana bread in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool completely before cutting it.

- 150 g havermout
- 5 medjoul dadels
- 25 g vanille eiwitpoeder (1 scoop)
- 4 tl World Spice blend - Chai
- 1 tl bakpoeder
- 1 tl baking soda
- 2 eieren
