Chai spiced granola
Delicious homemade chai spiced granola! Combine the dry ingredients, add melted coconut oil, honey, and vanilla, and bake. Let cool and break into pieces for a crunchy, healthy snack! Delicious sprinkled over yogurt or quark.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 150°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together well.
Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the marrow.
In a small saucepan, gently heat the coconut oil, honey, vanilla seeds, and scraped vanilla pod. Stir well and let the mixture simmer gently (about 20-30 seconds). Then remove the vanilla pod.
Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the mixture in a thin, even layer on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Remove the granola from the oven and let it cool completely (about 30 minutes). The granola will continue to harden as it cools.
Break into pieces to desired size and store in a sealed container.

- 180 gram havermout (gecertificeerd glutenvrij)
- 100 gram amandelen, grof gehakt
- 100 gram pecannoten of walnoten, grof gehakt
- 50 gram pompoenpitten
- 50 gram zonnebloempitten
- 2 theelepels World Spice Blend Chai
- 60 ml kokosolie
- 80 ml honing (of ahornsiroop)
- 1 Vanille stokje
