Chinese five spice noodle soup
Preparation
Season the chicken breast with 5 grams of Chinese five-spice seasoning. Add salt to taste and cook until cooked through.
Boil the egg to taste. Cook the noodles until al dente. Slice the carrots to taste and blanch. Chop the remaining vegetables. Slice the spring onion and chili into rings.
Cook the dashi and season with the miso and 3 grams of Chinese five-spice seasoning. Slice the chicken breast and cut the nori into strips.
Place the warm noodles in a bowl and top with the vegetables, chicken, and egg. Pour in the miso broth and garnish with the nori, spring onion, chili rings, and black sesame seeds.
