Energy bars with banana and satay sauce
Energy bars with banana and satay sauce for an extra boost.
These energy bars with banana, satay sauce, various nuts, and oats give you an extra boost and are therefore perfect as a snack. This recipe makes about 10 energy bars. They also freeze well.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
Finely chop the dark chocolate. Mash the bananas in a bowl and mix in the satay sauce (ready-made), cocoa powder, oats, and three-quarters of the nuts.
Line a 20 x 20 cm baking dish with baking paper and spoon the mixture into it. Smooth the top and press in the chocolate pieces and remaining nuts.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, let cool completely and cut into bars.

- 4 rijpe bananen
- 150 g Satésaus (kant-en-klaar)
- 1 el cacao
- 110 g grove havermout
- 75 g pinda’s, amandelen en walnoten
- 30 g pure chocolade
