Stuffed rolls from the BBQ
Richly filled rolls from the BBQ.
BBQ rolls filled with sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts. Who wouldn't want that?! You can easily season the rolls with Italian herbs and, of course, all the goodness inside.
Preparation
Cut the olives and sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sea salt, and sugar. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water and stir it into the flour mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
Finally, knead the grated cheese, sliced olives, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, and Italian herbs. Let the dough rise in a clean bowl, covered with a tea towel, in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
Form 15 small balls from the dough, place them on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with black pepper and sea salt. Let rise for another 30 to 45 minutes, covered with a tea towel.
Thread the rolls onto a (greased) skewer or place them on the barbecue. Grill for about 10 minutes, until the rolls are cooked through and the cheese is melted.
Variatietip
Serveer de broodjes bij een stuk vlees of vis van de barbecue en naast een frisse salade.
