Preparation
Chop the onion into thin strips, the leek into half rings, the bell pepper into 2 cm cubes, and the cherry tomatoes into quarters. Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the ground meat and the sachet of Breton Ground Meat Mix. Cook the ground meat briefly for 2 minutes.
Add the bell pepper, leek, and red onion to the ground meat and cook for 2 minutes. Finally, add the drained chickpeas and tomatoes. Cook for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, grill the pita breads in a grill pan.
Cut open the pita breads, fill them with the ground meat and chickpea mixture, and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Serve immediately.
