Savory pie with bacon and pumpkin.
Try this savory filo pastry pie. Deliciously seasoned with the 100% natural bacon mix and pumpkin, it's a delicious winter dish.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish with 25 grams of butter. Chop the onion, cut the bacon into strips, and dice the pumpkin. Rub the bacon with the 100% Natural Bacon Mix.
Heat 25 grams of butter in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the bacon and cook until cooked through; they don't need to be crispy. Then add the pumpkin cubes and cook for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with 100 ml of water.
Melt the remaining butter and brush the filo pastry with it. Fill the greased baking dish with 2/3 of the filo pastry. Spread the bacon and pumpkin mixture over the filo pastry and cover with the remaining filo pastry. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
