A dahl is a dish made with legumes cooked until soft. This Indian dahl is actually always vegetarian because it's made with legumes. A delicious and nutritious dish.

Preparation

1

Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

2

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, and cut into cubes of about 2 by 2 cm. Peel and finely chop the ginger.

3

Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the World Spice Blend - Garam Masala, ginger, and chopped pumpkin and cook for 2 minutes. Add the red lentils, bouillon cube, and coconut milk and simmer covered over low heat for 20 minutes. Taste the lentils to ensure they are cooked through.

4

Add the spinach and stir. Slice the red pepper into rings and the lime into wedges.

5

Prepare the Lebanese bread according to the instructions on the package in the preheated oven.

6

Serve the dahl with fresh coriander, lime wedges, red pepper, quark and Lebanese bread.
