Italian oven dish with meatballs
A typical Italian oven dish with meatballs and vegetables.
A delicious and easy weekday meal with children: a baking tray full of Italian-spiced meatballs, various vegetables and baby potatoes.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, shell the green beans and halve them into equal-sized pieces. Parboil them in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes.
Coarsely dice the bell peppers. Slice the tomatoes and red onions.
In a large bowl, combine all the vegetables and pre-cooked baby potatoes with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and 1.5 tablespoons of World Spice Blend - Napoli. Spread everything on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Mix the ground meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, and 1.5 tablespoons of World Spice Blend - Napoli. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Form meatballs of about 30 grams (about the size of a ping-pong ball). Place the meatballs on a baking sheet with the vegetables and potatoes.
Place the filled baking sheet in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Stir the ingredients regularly. Before serving, check if the meatballs are cooked through by cutting open one of them. Divide the ingredients among plates and season with black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
