Preparation

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.

Cut the grilled pepper into 2 cm wide pieces, peel and roughly chop the garlic.

Meanwhile, cut the chicken breast into 3 by 4 cm pieces. Mix these with the Crispy Chicken Mix - Cajun and the water.

Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 13 minutes, or until cooked through. Shake the chicken occasionally.

Finely blend the bell pepper and garlic in a blender. Add the egg yolk, mustard, white wine vinegar, and paprika and process until aioli forms. Then slowly add the sunflower oil to prevent the aioli from curdling.

Serve the crispy Cajun chicken with the paprika ailoi.

Tip: Make the aioli a day in advance so that the garlic flavor has fully penetrated the aioli and it is firmer.

Tip: If you don't have an air fryer, you can also prepare the crispy Cajun chicken in the oven or in a frying pan.

Varieer met dit gerecht door de paprika aioli te vervangen voor chilimayonaise. Meng 1 el chilisaus met 4 el mayonaise en voeg hier nog een halve tl peper aan toe.

  • 120 g gegrilde rode paprika
  • 2 tenen knoflook
  • 400 g kipfilet
  • 8 el Mix voor Kip Krokant - Cajun
  • 1 el water
  • 60 g eigeel
  • 1 tl Dijonmosterd
  • 1 el witte wijnazijn
  • 1 tl Paprikapoeder
  • 150 ml zonnebloemolie
