Lettuce salad with fresh herbs
Fresh green salad with fresh herbs and a soft-boiled egg.
This delicious, fresh herb salad with homemade croutons and a boiled egg is an ideal side dish for a creamy pasta dish or to serve with a barbecue. The Traditional Egg Mix adds the wonderfully warm flavor of garlic and onion. A delicious way to add variety.
Preparation
Separate the lettuce leaves and wash them. Dry carefully.
Boil the eggs for 7 minutes, then cool and peel. Pick the herbs from the stems and finely chop the chives. Tear the bread into pieces and toss in a bowl with the olive oil, black pepper, and sea salt. Fry the croutons in a skillet until golden brown and crispy.
Combine the mustard with the honey and white wine vinegar, and slowly add the olive oil, stirring constantly, until smooth. Season with black pepper and sea salt.
Mix the lettuce with the fresh herbs and gently toss in 3/4 of the dressing. Halve the eggs lengthwise and arrange them on the salad. Sprinkle with the Traditional Egg Mix. Finish with the croutons.

- 4 tl Mix voor Ei - Traditioneel
- 6 sneetjes oud brood
- Zwarte Peper Zeezout
- 2 tl fijne mosterd
- 2 tl honing
- 4 el witte wijnazijn
- 100 ml olijfolie
