Spring rolls with goat cheese, spinach, and orange dip. These spring rolls are delicious with drinks or as an appetizer. This recipe makes 8 spring rolls, and you can share them among 4 people.

Preparation

Remove the spring roll wrappers from the freezer and let them thaw. Mix 4 tablespoons of water with 1 tablespoon of flour in a small bowl and let it sit briefly.

Zest the orange and squeeze out the juice. Mix this in a small bowl with the cottage cheese and honey. Cover and store in the refrigerator.

Finely chop the shallot and roughly chop the spinach. In a bowl, combine the goat cheese, spinach, chopped shallot, World Spice Meal - Couscous, and olive oil. Season with black pepper to taste. Form the goat cheese and spinach mixture into 8 equal rolls.

Place a spring roll wrapper with the point facing down. Top with a second spring roll wrapper. Place one goat cheese and spinach roll horizontally on the wrapper. Fold the bottom point over the roll, pull tight, and press out any air bubbles.

Using a pastry brush, lightly dust the edges with flour. Fold the sides inward and roll up the spring roll. Repeat until all the goat cheese and spinach spring rolls have been made.

Fry the spring rolls in a skillet over a layer of hot sunflower oil for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately with the orange dip.

  • 1 sjalot
  • 2,5 tl World Spice Meal - Couscous
  • 2 el olijfolie
  • 4 el water
  • 1 el bloem
  • Zwarte peper, naar smaak
  • zonnebloemolie, om te bakken
  • Voor de sinaasappeldip:
  • ½ sinaasappel
  • 200 g kwark
  • 2 el honing
