Mac & Cheese with old cheese and cheddar

A true American classic: mac and cheese. Pasta in a creamy cheese sauce made with aged cheese and cheddar, topped with salty ham and a crispy topping. You simply must try this guilty pleasure pasta dish!
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Prepare the macaroni according to the package directions, but cook it 3 minutes less than the package directions.
Heat the butter in a pan and add the flour. Whisk for 2 minutes until the flour is cooked through. Add the milk and continue stirring until it has the consistency of yogurt. Add 90g of the aged cheese and 90g of the cheddar and stir until melted. Add the black pepper, sea salt, diced ham, and 1 tablespoon of World Spice Meal - Mac & Cheese.
Mix the macaroni with the cheese sauce and spoon into the baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining aged cheese, cheddar, and panko. Bake the mac & cheese in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Slice the cucumbers. Add them to the lamb's lettuce along with the sunflower seeds. Mix the olive oil with the remaining World Spice Meal - Mac & Cheese to make a dressing. Drizzle over the lamb's lettuce.
Serve the Mac & Cheese with the salad.

- 1,5 el World Spice Meal - Mac & Cheese
- 3 el panko
- 4 mini komkommers
- 85 g veldsla
- 20 g zonnebloempitten
- 1 el extra vierge olijfolie
