Mini Hamburgers made from ground beef and chickpeas
Mini hybrid burgers made from ground beef and chickpeas.
Mini burgers for a cozy gourmet evening. These burgers are a nice change of pace and also an easy way to eat less meat. You serve the buns like a real mini hamburger. This recipe makes 8 small burgers.
Preparation
Drain the chickpeas and finely chop them in a food processor or with an immersion blender. Small chunks are fine. Finely chop the shallot.
Combine the ground meat with the chickpeas, Hamburger Mix, finely chopped shallot, egg, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into small patties and cook them on a gourmet grill or teppanyaki plate.
Bake the mini burger buns according to the instructions on the package.
Cut open the buns and top each with a slice of tomato, a little gem lettuce leaf, and the burger patty. Serve with a dollop of Guilt Free Tomato Ketchup.
