Mini quiche with salmon and green asparagus

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Remove the puff pastry sheets from the freezer and let them thaw. Grease the mini quiche pans (Ø 10 cm) with butter. If necessary, roll out each puff pastry sheet with a rolling pin to the size of the quiche pan. Line the quiche pans with the puff pastry sheets.
Cut the smoked salmon into strips and the green asparagus into three equal parts.
Combine the cream, eggs, and basil. Season with black pepper and sea salt to taste.
Divide ¾ of the smoked salmon among the mini quiches. Arrange the green asparagus pieces and pour the whipped cream mixture over them.
Bake the mini quiches in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until the filling is set. Sprinkle the remaining salmon flakes over the quiches and serve immediately.
