Mini sausage rolls
Delicious homemade sausage rolls for drinks.
These mini sausage rolls are a delicious snack for a party or drinks reception. This recipe makes 16 sausage rolls that are perfect for four people.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Beat 1 egg in a small bowl.
Mix the ground meat in a bowl with the Italian Mince Mix packet. Add half the egg and knead the meat thoroughly. Halve the meat.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it in half lengthwise. Spread half of the ground meat on half of the puff pastry, covering one side only. Repeat.
Fold the puff pastry side over the ground meat, creating two long rolls. Press the edges together with a fork. Cut each roll into 8 equal-sized pieces, halving each one.
Place all 16 mini sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with the remaining beaten egg. Bake in a preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
