Orzo salad with grilled halloumi
Meal salad with orzo and grilled halloumi cheese.
A delicious salad with grilled halloumi, orzo, sweet pointed pepper, tomato, zucchini, and olives. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
Preparation
Cook the orzo according to the instructions on the package.
Halve the sweet pointed peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds, and slice. Dice the tomatoes and zucchini, slice the olives, and slice the halloumi cheese.
Heat the (olive) oil in a frying pan and cook the zucchini for about 3 to 5 minutes. Add the tomato and sweet pointed pepper and cook for another minute.
Meanwhile, heat a grill pan without butter and grill the halloumi on both sides until brown.
In a bowl, combine the cooked orzo with the sautéed vegetables. Add the World Spice Meal - Pasta Rosso and toss to coat. Season with salt, if desired. Scatter the sautéed halloumi over the salad and garnish with the olives and Parmesan cheese.

- 2 el (olijf)olie
- zout, naar smaak
