Pita gyros

Pita gyros is a traditional Greek dish consisting of sliced, seasoned, and grilled pork. We fill the pita breads with delicious homemade gyros meat and 100% natural ingredients. Served with a roasted tomato and pepper salsa and garlic crème fraîche, every bite is incredibly flavorful!
Preparation
Roughly chop 2 tomatoes, the bell pepper, and the white onion. Peel and roughly chop 1 clove of garlic. Heat a pan over high heat and roast the vegetables without oil until lightly charred. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the vegetables to a tall mixing bowl along with the red pepper, cilantro, juice of half a lime, sea salt, and black pepper. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Season with sea salt to taste, if desired, and set aside.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the shawarma until browned and cooked through. Add the Gyros Mix and cook for another minute.
Prepare the pita breads according to the instructions on the package.
Peel and thinly slice the red onion and the remaining tomato. Remove the lettuce leaves and wash them with water.
Peel the remaining garlic and crush it with a garlic press. Mix it with the crème fraîche.
Divide the lettuce, tomato, onion and gyros over the pita breads and serve with the garlic crème fraîche and tomato pepper salsa.
Serve with extra coriander as a garnish, if desired.
