Pizza bites with chorizo and tomato salsa

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Remove the pizza dough from the refrigerator to allow it to come to room temperature.
Peel and finely chop the garlic, stir this through the diced tomatoes with the World Spice Blend - Napoli.
Remove the skin from the chorizo and cut it into 1 cm cubes. Coarsely grate the pecorino cheese.
Roll out the pizza dough and cut out 5cm circles with a cutter or a glass. Place the cut-out pizza bases on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Spread the tomato salsa over the dough and top with the chorizo, black olives and grated pecorino.
Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the pizzas from the oven, garnish with the basil leaves, and serve. Sprinkle the mini pizza bites with additional Verstegen World Spice Blend Napoli herbs, if desired.

Voor de vegetarische optie van dit gerecht vervang je de chorizo door gegrilde paprika. Deze snijd je in blokken van 1 cm en verdeel je over de pizza’s samen met de olijven en pecorino.
