A golden-brown grilled sandwich, generously topped with sautéed mushrooms and aged cheese—we'd love to have this for lunch every day! The mushrooms are first sautéed in truffle tapenade. Serve the sandwich with a flavorful curry ketchup for the perfect finishing touch.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Slice the chestnut mushrooms. Peel and finely chop the onion.

Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Add the truffle tapenade and season with black pepper and sea salt.

Spread the crème fraîche, aged cheese, and chestnut mushrooms over half of the slices of rustic multigrain bread. Place the remaining slices on top.

Heat a pan with unsalted butter and fry the rustic toasted sandwiches until golden brown. Serve with Verstegen Guilt Free – Curry Ketchup.
