Scones with 5 Spices and Pecans

Scones are small breads originally from Scotland. These small rolls are the perfect addition to any high tea. Try these scones with 5 Spices and pecans. The World Spice Blend - 5 Spices gives these scones a deliciously spicy flavor. This creates a perfect balance with the filling: apricot jam and clotted cream.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare the scones according to the package directions. Add the World Spice Blend - 5 Spices and mix well with a mixer.
Spread the batter on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake the scones in the preheated oven according to the package directions until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the scones from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, roughly chop the pecans, heat a pan over medium heat and roast the pecans in the pan for 5 minutes.
Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler and spread it over the scones with a fork. Garnish with the pecans and refrigerate the scones for 10 minutes to harden the chocolate.
Cut the scones in half, spread the clotted cream over the bottom and the apricot jam over the top. Fold the scones closed and serve.
