Shakshuka with avocado breakfast
Breakfast shakshuka in a one-person pan.
Enjoy breakfast with a shakshuka inspired by a Middle Eastern dish. This avocado shakshuka, served in a small pan, is a delicious treat when you have time for a hearty breakfast. World Spice Blend - Harissa gives this dish a savory flavor.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
Grease two small individual bowls or pans.
Cut the bell pepper into small cubes and the spring onion into small rings.
Heat a frying pan with (olive) oil and briefly fry the red pepper and spring onion.
Add the diced tomatoes and peas and stir well. Add the World Spice Blend - Harissa and stir well.
Divide the tomato sauce between the two pans, make a well in the mixture and break an egg into it.
Place the pans in the oven for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, slice the avocado.
Serve the breakfast shakshuka with the fresh herbs and divide half a sliced avocado over each pan.
