Steak and gravy with white bread! The gravy is often just as delicious as the meat itself. Especially when you make it with our Steak & Gravy Mix; Gravy! That's why we serve the steak and gravy with white bread, so you can dip it in the gravy. Served with a green salad for a balanced meal.
Preparation
Let the steak come to room temperature and season the meat with 1 tbsp Mix for Steak & Gravy. Let it soak in for a while.
Halve the tomatoes, thinly slice the cucumber into half-moons, and slice the apple. Add the walnuts and butter lettuce and drizzle with olive oil. Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
Heat a skillet over high heat and add 20g of butter. Sear the steak on both sides. Reduce the heat and add the remaining butter. Cover the streak with the melted butter by spooning it over the top. Cook the steak to the desired doneness (rare, medium, or well done). Remove the steak from the pan, cover with aluminum foil, and let it rest.
Add a splash of warm water to the residue in the pan and reduce the gravy until it reaches your desired thickness. Add the remaining Steak & Gravy Mix seasoning to thicken and add extra flavor.
Divide the gravy among plates and place the steak in the gravy. Serve with the salad and bread for dipping.
