There's nothing better than a delicious steak off the barbecue! Especially not with a homemade BBQ rub made with various herbs. The dry BBQ rub is rubbed into the meat for a wonderfully rich flavor. Delicious with a fresh salad of cucumber, radish, apple, and feta.

Preparation

Combine all the spices and sugar for the BBQ rub in a bowl. Rub this over the meat and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cut the cucumber and feta cheese into 1 cm cubes. Wash the radishes and thinly slice them. Cut the apple into 5 mm slices and then thinly slice into batons. Toss the cucumber, feta cheese, radish, apple, and olive oil with the lettuce.

Grill the meat on the BBQ at 110 degrees Celsius (230 degrees Fahrenheit) over indirect heat until cooked to your desired doneness. The cooking time will depend on the cut of meat you choose. Serve the meat with the salad.
