Directing operators within your team and assigning tasks.
What are you going to do?
At the start of your shift, you ensure that everyone knows what is expected of them. You discuss the schedule, assign tasks, and relay important information from the organization to your team. Throughout the shift, you maintain an overview of people, machines, materials, and quality. This includes, among other things, the following duties:
Leading the daily stand-up and keeping your team informed of what is happening.
You monitor the planning, production numbers, quality, and safety.
Verify that all work and quality controls have been properly executed and
recorded.
You adjust priorities if production requires it.
You are the first point of contact for malfunctions and will call in the
Technical Service department when necessary.
Ensure that raw materials, semi-finished products, and packaging materials are available on time.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure the production process runs smoothly.
You motivate employees, help them move forward, and ensure effective
collaboration within the team.
