We are looking for a
S&OP Manager
(Fulltime 37.5 hours)
As S&OP Manager at Verstegen, you'll have the opportunity to take a significant step in further professionalizing our supply chain. You'll ensure that customer demand, production capacity, and material availability are better aligned. Not just by organizing daily planning effectively, but primarily by making processes smarter, more reliable, and future-proof.
You will lead an ambitious planning team with colleagues in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, and MRP Planning. A team with a lot of knowledge and energy, but also a team that needs direction, coaching, and further development.
This role is about more than just planning. You'll further build a mature S&OP process, bring structure, improve interdepartmental collaboration, and ensure that decisions are increasingly based on data and clear processes. As part of the Operational Management Team, you'll also work with fellow leaders on Verstegen's operational goals.

About the team:
You will join the Supply Chain team in Rotterdam. The department is rapidly developing and is moving towards one integrated way of working in which demand, supply, production planning, and material planning work closely together.
You will lead a team of planners and report to the Supply Chain Manager. The team consists of enthusiastic and ambitious colleagues who are eager to grow. You will help them develop, bring focus, and ensure that everyone works towards the same goal.

What are you going to do?
As S&OP Manager, you are responsible for further developing our planning organization. You ensure reliable planning, improved cross-departmental collaboration, and higher delivery reliability for our customers. Your main tasks:

Coaching, guiding and developing the planning team.

Improving processes, systems
and working methods within planning.
4.
Ensuring optimal alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and material availability.

Monitoring and improving KPIs such as delivery reliability and performance-to-plan.

Collaborating with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Supply Chain, among others, to make the right choices.
7.
Integrating material planning within the overall planning organization.
8.
Identifying opportunities for improvement and translating these into concrete actions.
Who are you?
You have experience in managing, coaching, or developing people, or you are ready to take the next step in this area. You find it important to provide direction to colleagues, further develop talent, and improve as a team together.
You are analytically strong, but above all, someone who can motivate people. You dare to make choices, can remain calm when pressure increases, and know how to bring structure to a dynamic environment.
Furthermore, we ask for:
● HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
● Experience within supply chain, planning, or operations in a production environment.
● Experience within the food industry is important.
● Experience with improving or setting up processes, preferably around S&OP.
● Affinity with leadership and people development.
● Good knowledge of Excel and working with data.
● You are assertive and can effectively manage various interests.
● Good command of the Dutch language.
