Vega Cajun burger with mango and coleslaw
A homemade veggie burger with great flavor thanks to the World Spice Blend - Cajun. Delicious with the sweet mango and crispy, fresh coleslaw.
We prepare this veggie Cajun burger with vegetarian ground meat and delicious Cajun spices, and serve it on toasted, crispy Italian buns. Topped with lamb's lettuce, mango, coleslaw, cucumber ribbons, and of course, don't forget: mayonnaise!
Preparation
Mix the vegetarian ground meat with the eggs, breadcrumbs, and 3 teaspoons of World Spice Blend - Cajun. Form into 4 patties the size of an Italian roll. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the burger for 5 minutes per side.
Thinly slice the cabbage with a mandolin. If you don't have a mandolin, you can use a sharp knife. Cut the cabbage slices into strips and mix with the carrot and yogurt to make a coleslaw. Peel the mango, cut the flesh around the pit, and cut into long slices. Shave the cucumber into long strips with a mandolin or cheese slicer.
Cut the Italian rolls in half. Heat the butter in a pan and toast the rolls for 1 minute. Mix the mayonnaise and the remaining World Spice Blend - Cajun into a sauce.
Spread the mayonnaise over the toasted Italian rolls, followed by the lamb's lettuce, mango, hamburger patty, coleslaw, and cucumber ribbons. Serve with chips.
