Vega hot dog with Chimichurri and coleslaw

This vegetarian hot dog comes together quickly, yet looks festive. It features a variety of textures and a coleslaw salad with chimichurri.

How delicious do these veggie hot dogs look? The hot dog buns are not only delicious, but the best part is that they're also vegan! The buns are filled with veggie hot dogs, chimichurri coleslaw, peppadews, pickles, and red onion, and topped with sriracha mayonnaise. Plenty of flavor!

Thinly slice the white cabbage with a mandoline and then cut it into very fine strips. Mix the cabbage with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and World Spice Blend - Chimichurri to make a coleslaw. Peel the red onion, slice it with a mandoline, and then cut it into half rings. No mandoline? Then use a sharp knife to cut it. Halve the peppadews and slice the gherkins. Mix the mayonnaise with the sriracha to make a sriracha mayonnaise.

Heat the remaining oil in the pan and prepare the vegetarian hot dogs according to the instructions on the package.

Slice the hot dog buns lengthwise at the top and arrange a hot dog and a tablespoon of coleslaw on each bun. Garnish with the sriracha mayonnaise. If desired, make a piping bag out of parchment paper to pipe the mayonnaise onto the buns. Then top the hot dogs with the peppadews, pickles, and red onion. Serve with the remaining sriracha mayonnaise and the remaining World Spice Blend - Chimichurri.
