Vegetarian pasta bolognese with lentils
Pasta with vegetarian red sauce, packed with vegetables.
This vegetarian pasta bolognese is a ground meat version of the classic. The red sauce features various vegetables and is filled with lentils, a delicious twist on the classic. This dish contains a generous 350 grams of vegetables per person. The sauce is seasoned with World Spice Blend - Napoli.
Preparation
Chop the onion and dice the carrot, celery, and mushrooms. Drain the lentils.
Heat a wok with oil and sauté the onion. Add the carrot and celery and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the drained lentils, mushrooms, and tomato paste and cook for about 1 minute. Add the diced tomatoes and the World Spice Blend - Napoli. Half-fill the empty can with warm water and pour it over. Reduce the sauce for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package directions.
Serve the sauce with a pasta of your choice. Garnish with grated cheese.
