Homemade fries. Enjoy the artisanal taste of homemade fries, a classic treat that's always a favorite. Serve them with our guilt-free tomato ketchup for a tasty and healthy snack.
Preparation
Rinse the potatoes under running water. You don't have to peel them, but you can. Cut the potatoes into thick slices of about 1 cm. Then cut them into 1 cm strips to make fries. Rinse the fries well under running water and let them sit in a bowl of water for half an hour.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C or the air fryer to 175°C.
Drain the water and dry the fries thoroughly with a tea towel or paper towel.
Toss the fries with the oil. Spread the fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in the air fryer basket.
Bake the fries in the oven or in the air fryer until golden brown and shake halfway through.
Air fryer preparation time: 20-25 minutes
Oven preparation time: 35-40 minutes
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon (or more to taste) of the Mix for Fries & Chips over the fries after frying. Serve the fries with the sugar-free Guilt Free Tomato Ketchup.
