Za'atar is a Middle Eastern spice blend. Its flavor is exotic: a combination of the mild, nutty aroma of sesame seeds, the sweet notes of sumac (dried red berries), and a slightly bitter thyme note. Delicious with flatbread, roasted vegetables, or hummus.
