Carrot cake with ras el hanout

Carrot cake with ras el hanout is a delicious cake made with grated carrots.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
Place whole wheat flour, self-raising flour, baking soda, World Spice Blend - Ras el Hanout and salt in a bowl and mix.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with the caster sugar, orange juice, and zest. Slowly add the oil and mix well.
Stir in the flour mixture in two parts, followed by the grated carrot and raisins.
Place the batter in a cake tin lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes.
Make the frosting by mixing cream cheese and quark with powdered sugar.
Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and grate the rest of the last orange over it.

- 100 g zelfrijzend bakmeel
- 100 g donkere basterdsuiker
- 1 tl baking soda
- 150 ml zonnebloemolie
- 3 eieren
- 100 g rozijnen
- 1 sinaasappel
- 2 tl World Spice Blend - Ras el Hanout
- 1 tl zout
- 50 g kwark
- 50 g roomkaas
- 2 el poedersuiker
- 1 sinaasappel
