Grilled fruit with homemade vanilla ice cream. Grilled fruit has never been more popular! Peaches, melon, and pineapple are a delicious combination and develop a delightful grilled flavor right off the barbecue. Make your own vanilla ice cream, top it off with ground cinnamon and rock sugar, and you have a delicious dessert to enjoy after your BBQ.
Preparation
Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in the condensed milk with a spatula. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla pod and add this to the whipped cream. Transfer the mixture to a clean container and freeze for 6 hours. Stir the ice cream well every half hour.
Peel the pineapple and watermelon and cut them into slices about 1.5 cm thick. Wash the peaches and cut them into 6 wedges.
Grill the fruit on the barbecue until it is soft, but not falling apart.
Serve the grilled fruit with your homemade vanilla ice cream, a sprig of fresh mint and ground cinnamon.

- 3 perziken
- 4 takjes verse munt
