Hummus with Za'atar and flatbread
Creamy hummus with za'atar and Lebanese bread for dipping.
A perfect dish for drinks. This creamy hummus with za'atar is delicious served with Lebanese bread.
Preparation
Drain the chickpeas and peel the garlic clove. Add them to the food processor along with the tahini, salt, lemon juice, and 2 teaspoons of World Spice Blend - Za'atar. Blend briefly. Gradually add 6 tablespoons of oil. Blend until smooth.
Heat the grill pan and toast the Lebanese bread for 1 minute per side. Toast the almond shavings in a dry pan until golden brown.
Serve the hummus in a bowl and garnish with the olive oil, pomegranate seeds, toasted almond shavings, mint, and the remaining World Spice Blend - Za'atar. Serve with the Lebanese bread.

- 1 teen knoflook
- 3 el tahin
- ½ tl zout
- 3 el citroensap
- 2 ½ tl World Spice Blend - Za’atar
- 7 el extra vierge olijfolie
- 4 volkoren Libanees brood
- 10 g amandelschaafsel
- 30 g granaatappelpitten
- 5 g verse munt
