Mac and Cheese with Pumpkin
Tasty vegetarian casserole for a weeknight.
A delicious vegetarian mac and cheese casserole with pumpkin. The dish is seasoned with World Spice Meals - Mac and Cheese.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes. Cook the pumpkin for about 12-15 minutes, or until al dente.
Cook the macaroni according to the instructions on the package until al dente.
Heat the butter in a large skillet and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the flour and cook briefly. Then, gradually whisk in the milk until a thick sauce forms. Add the grated cheese and stir until melted. Add the World Spice Meal - Mac & Cheese. Mix the macaroni and squash cubes into the sauce. Add a little water if necessary.
Gradually stir in the fresh spinach until wilted. Place everything in a baking dish and sprinkle with panko.
Then bake the mac and cheese casserole in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

De World Spice Meal - Mac & Cheese is lekker pittig van zichzelf. Je kunt de hoeveelheid kruiden naar smaak aanpassen door iets meer of iets minder toe te voegen. Kies er eventueel voor om de cheddar volledig te vervangen voor jong belegen, dan krijgt de ovenschotel een iets romigere en zachte smaak.

- 3 tl World Spice Meal - Mac & Cheese
- Zwarte Peper, naar smaak
- Zeezout, naar smaak
