Madeleines are French shell-shaped cakes. Make these cakes high tea-ready with this recipe: madeleines with dark chocolate and carrots. Because you use ready-made madeleines, this recipe is ready in no time. Mix the dark chocolate with World Spice Blend - Ras el Hanout to enhance the flavors even more. Enjoy them during high tea!

Preparation

Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler. Stir the World Spice Blend - Ras el Hanout into the melted chocolate.

Peel the carrots and grate them on a fine grater.

Remove the madeleines from the packaging and dip them halfway into the dark chocolate and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

While the chocolate is still liquid, sprinkle the grated carrot over the madeleines and finally grate the orange zest over it with a fine grater.

Place the madeleines in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, so that the chocolate is completely hard, then serve.
