Red lentil soup with Ras el Hanout
A delicious and filling meal soup with lots of fiber thanks to the lentils.
This red lentil soup has a delicious flavor and is also packed with healthy fiber thanks to the red lentils. The World Spice Blend - Ras el Hanout adds a lot of flavor, and the chili pepper and chili flakes add a nice kick! You can prepare this delicious red lentil soup in just half an hour.
Preparation
Peel and finely chop the onion. Slice the carrots. Deseed the red pepper and chop finely.
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the World Spice Blend - Ras el Hanout and cook for 1 minute. Add the carrots and red pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Add the vegetable stock, lemon juice, and lentils and simmer for 30 minutes over medium heat. Puree the soup until almost smooth.
Serve the lentil soup with the crème fraîche, parsley and chili flakes.
