Sparkling yuzu & ginger mocktail
A deliciously refreshing mocktail with a kick and depth. The powerful ginger and the freshness of the yuzu provide an energetic kick, while the hint of cardamom adds warmth and elegance. A perfect aperitif for the holidays.
Preparation
Cut the ginger into thin slices.
Heat a pan with the honey, ginger slices, and half the Verstegen cardamom pods. Let this steep for 10 minutes.
Remove the ginger and cardamom pods from the honey and mix the honey with the sparkling water and half of the ice cubes.
Grate the lime zest with the peeler, cut into strips and roll up.
Divide the yuzu soda and the remaining ice cubes among the glasses and pour the honey mixture over it.
Garnish the glasses with the remaining cardamom pods, place the lime zest on the rim of the glass and serve.
Variatietip
Voeg wanneer de yuzu mocktail niet alcoholvrij hoeft te zijn 150 ml limoncello toe tijdens het mengen van de cocktail. De hoeveelheid spa rood komt dan te vervallen of wordt gehalveerd.

- 80 g honing
- 8 Verstegen kardemompeulen
- 250 ml spa rood
- 15 ijsblokjes
- 1 limoen
- 500 ml yuzu soda
