Cauliflower mash with cod burger
A surprising cauliflower mash.
A delicious mashed potato dish of cauliflower, sweet pointed pepper, and cheese, served with a crispy cod burger. Delicious for a dark weeknight.
Preparation
Peel and halve the potatoes. Bring them to a boil in plenty of water and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender. After 15 minutes, add the cauliflower florets and cook through.
Meanwhile, halve the sweet pointed peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds, and slice. Thinly slice the spring onions.
Heat half the butter in a frying pan. Cook the cod burgers according to the package directions until cooked through and brown.
Then drain the potatoes and cauliflower florets. Add the Vegetable Finish - Cauliflower, half the butter, crème fraîche, and grated cheese and mash until coarsely mashed. Add the sweet pointed bell pepper and scallions and stir to combine.
Divide the mashed potatoes among plates. Serve with the crispy cod burger.

- 1 bosui
- 100 ml crème fraîche
- 50 g geraspte kaas
- 1 zakje Groentefinish - Bloemkool
- 50 g roomboter
