Cod and mussel fish cakes
Fish cakes for the gourmet, served with Illie Billie - Sweet Chili.
These fish cakes are the perfect homemade gourmet snack! You grind cod and mussels into a fine paste and then serve them with Illie Billie - Sweet Chili. This recipe makes about 15 cakes, so you'll have plenty if you're having a gourmet meal for six!
Preparation
Cut the cod fillet into pieces and blend it together with the mussels, fish sauce, and Fish Mix in a food processor or with an immersion blender. Once the fish is finely ground, add the egg and cornstarch.
Finely chop the spring onions.
Form the ground fish into cakes (preferably with wet hands). Bake the fish cakes on a gourmet plate and serve with the finely chopped spring onion and Guilt Free Sweet Chili.
Variatietip
In dit recept gebruiken we een gourmetplaat, maar je kunt deze koekjes natuurlijk ook bakken in een normale pan.
