Looking for a tasty snack or a surprising appetizer? Try these spicy mini sausage rolls. We season the dough with Vadouvan herbs, which creates a surprising flavor. Perfect as a savory snack and irresistible with any meal!
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Mix the flour with half the eggs, yeast, unsalted butter, and WSB Vadouvan in a food processor. Gradually add the milk and half the sea salt and knead until a smooth dough forms.
Dampen a tea towel with lukewarm water and let the dough rise for 30 minutes with the warm tea towel over the bowl.
Meanwhile, mix the half-and-half minced meat with the ground mustard seeds, curry, breadcrumbs, black pepper, remaining sea salt and the egg.
Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick and cut into 3 by 5 cm pieces. Place half a tablespoon of the ground meat on the dough and fold the dough over the ground meat. Repeat this until all the ground meat is used.
Arrange the mini sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 20 minutes.
Serve the mini sausage rolls with the coarsely ground mustard.
