Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Roll out the croissant dough and press all seams closed. Cut the croissant dough in half into two equal pieces.

Melt the butter in the microwave (or saucepan). Add the ground cinnamon and stir to combine.

Brush both sheets of croissant dough thoroughly with the butter mixture. Then sprinkle with brown sugar. Roll the croissant dough tightly from left to right and, using a sharp knife, cut each roll into 6 slices.

Place the cinnamon rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving plenty of space between them. Press the cinnamon rolls firmly into the baking sheet to prevent them from rising in the oven. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
