Quick nasi with chicken
This quick, classic nasi is packed with familiar flavors. The chicken is seasoned with fragrant nasi and bami spices, giving every bite a delicious flavor. Delicious with crunchy nasi vegetables and basmati rice.
Preparation
Heat ½ of the sesame oil in a large wok or frying pan. Sauté the chicken thigh fillet for 2 minutes over high heat. Add the nasi vegetables along with the Verstegen WSM Nasi & Bami and stir-fry for 4 minutes.
Thinly slice the scallions. Add the pre-steamed basmati rice and the white part of the scallions to the pan. Heat the rice thoroughly and reduce the heat.
Heat the remaining sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the eggs until sunny-side up.
Divide the nasi among plates, followed by a fried egg and the green part of the spring onion. Serve with the emping melindjo nut chips on the side.
